Kymon Zander

Description

Kymon Zander is a skilled weaponsmith. His arms bulge with muscles from a lifetime of hammering steel, and his skin shows damage from the heat of the forge. He wears cheap workman’s clothes, and his hands are black with soot. His hair is beginning to thin, and he looks to be approaching his late 40s.

Attitude

Kymon is a kind but foolish man. He always charges a fair rate for his work, and believes there is nothing he can’t do. He is outgoing, and very friendly toward his customers. He is more than willing to go out of his way to help out his friends.

Reputation

Kymon is known as a talented weaponsmith, and blades that bear his name can sell for a small fortune. Most people like him, and know him as someone trustworthy. There are few places better in the city if you are looking for a new blade.

Adventure Hook

Kymon’s store was recently broken into. A large sum of money, as well as some weapons, were stolen. One of the swords that was taken belongs to the prince, and was currently in the store for some maintenance. The prince is returning to collect the blade in the next couple of days, and if Kymon doesn’t have it then he could end up in the dungeon. Kymon is willing to let the players keep all the stolen money if they can just return the sword to him before the prince comes to collect. He thinks the job was carried out by a local criminal gang that has a secret headquarters somewhere in the city.
